My hotel tips on Mallorca
There are tons of hotels in Mallorca, many, many beautiful hotels.
I'll only introduce you to the ones I really know.
Maybe the list will grow now that we live here.
Nice with children…
Hotel Portixol – Boutique hotel near Palma with the beach within walking distance
Perfect location: You can cycle to Palma and next to the hotel there are two beautiful beaches, one with a very cool beach club.
The boutique hotel is small, but it also offers larger accommodation (for holidays with children) and has a very nice terrace with a restaurant and a bar if you want to sit in the evening with a baby monitor.
The hotel features a wonderful penthouse suite with a roof terrace and two two-bedroom townhouses. Was always our first choice with children.
Hotel Son Bernadinet – family finca hotel
Very green, very spacious, with a beautiful, large pool and the children especially love the small stable on the hotel grounds. There is a wonderful breakfast and one of the most beautiful beaches “Es Trenc” is only 12 kilometers away.
There are larger rooms here too... but what's particularly nice is the spaciousness of the area and the animals for the children. I still have photos of Moritz stroking the donkey.

Hotel Can Pocovi – fine boutique hotel in the east
In the rather undeveloped east and in a non-touristy place is the beautiful boutique hotel Can Pocovi with an infinity pool on the roof and a beautiful garden with the best in-house cat... love it!
Eating breakfast in the garden, then going on excursions and relaxing on the roof terrace in the afternoon is a wonderful option here. The rooms are different sizes, but they are all super renovated, with great bathrooms.

Hotel Sant Francesc Singular – luxury in Palma
For stays in Palma as a couple or with friends (definitely without children) this is my favorite hotel. Super nice rooms, great architecture, but quiet in the middle of Palma, roof terrace with pool and luxurious boutique hotel. We were happy to be here as a couple for a Palma trip, even off-season.

Hotel Can Ferrereta – Luxury in Santanyi
The sister hotel to Sant Franscec is around the corner from us, in Santanyi.
Very nice. Especially if you're a Santanyi fan. Great outdoor area with pool and restaurant, very very stylish, I would move in straight away. The library with the extensive record collection is also great. I could have sat there for hours.
The hotel is fine with children, but it is a city hotel and I always find Fina and/or the beach better.
