Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 handful of fresh spinach
- 1/2 cucumber, peeled and diced
- 1 green apple, cored and diced
- 1/2 lemon, juice of it
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)
- 1 cup water or coconut water (for consistency)
Steps:
- Peel the banana and cut it into pieces.
- Wash the fresh spinach thoroughly.
- Peel the cucumber and cut it into small cubes.
- Core the green apple and cut it into pieces too.
- Squeeze the juice of half a lemon.
- Grate the fresh ginger.
- Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor.
- Optionally add a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter note.
- Add a cup of water or coconut water to reach the desired consistency.
- Mix all the ingredients well until the smoothie is nice and creamy.
